So you did that without inquarting it first or cutting them into smaller pieces to give the acid better access to the base metals? What where you starting with gold filled gold-plated karat gold, and how much were you expecting for a final yield?

I've happened upon a lot of circuit boards and other circuitry I think is gold plated. I want to recover the gold myself but I don't have the skill nor the finances, nor the ability to do so in my current living conditions. Do you know if there is anywhere I could send these circuit boards to have the precious metals recovered for me?

Sell the parts on ebay as scrap. There are a lot of postings like that. I do not think any refinery/scrap processor would send you your gold, rather the money.

Heya ! You're back on the stage ! Good job on it. 20 microns means 20g Au per kilograms. Best gold filled items are 50 microns ! 80's 90's period drop average gold filled item to 5 microns. Modern electro-plated runs 0.5 to 1 micron. Some jewelry says " X years of waranty" which indicates 1 micron for 1 year. Always a pleasure to see your vid ! Love and Peace.

I have just got a batch of these. Only it's about 3500 grams after I stripped them down. All marked au10 and up lots are au20 . Now I just need to some how get nitric acid in canada but without a license its impossible it seems. And I'm small small time hobby recovery/refiner so I can't get licensed. Any suggestions?

A few months ago I bought some supposed potassium nitrate but when I got it it was some nitrate fertilizer and for some reason when I mixed it with sulfuric acid drain cleaners 96 percent it dissolve my gold? Would you know why? So yeah I think it's back to basics on this and go with ap and time 👨‍🔬👩‍🔬. Thanks you

I use smb on cleaner solutions and iron sulfate for dirty solutions. Hope this helps.
