Gold leaf taupe ‘blossom branch’ acrylic painting with FINISHED result

Here’s my neutral ‘Blossom branch’ painting finished with Gold Leaf.
Even though my artwork is usually bright and colourful, I’ve enjoyed creating this calmer feeling blossom piece.
This acrylic painting is full of warm taupes, champagne, cream and golds, finished with an added touch of gold leaf to really give it a decadent luxurious feel.

To give you a little background, I started painting originally for stress relief and therapy when I suddenly started having seizures 3 months before I was due to graduate from a Physiotherapy degree! My whole life turned upside down as you can imagine. But I believe ‘Everything happens for a reason’ and I couldn’t imagine my life without my art now.
In 2018 I was discovered by a Publisher, Artko Ltd, who supply framed prints of my work to shops throughout the UK. My bestselling pieces are my ‘Love Trees’.

11:04 Removal of excess gold leaf begins
