This was an interesting match. The Righties had such great footwork, movement and positioning in Game 1 it kept it very close. But in Game 2 the two Righties appeared to be out of gas, while the Lefties kept the pressure high.

I was scratching my head wondering why the lefties are stacking on the even count, rather than the usual pattern of odd stacking. I wonder why.... Was it simply to confuse opponents?

@@robertkribs9513 You can stack on the even by starting out with an undesirable, position. There's no difference in outcome compared to stacking on the odd when you start at ideal positions. I guess it doesn't matter anyway except for some kind of gamesmanship. Or, maybe they changed strategy midway through a game, which will have locked in the unstacked positioning.

30:31 ball was way long. the opposing team did a delay celebration to convince the near team the ball was in. the far team should have called the ball out or at least should have refrained from bursting out with a fake celebration of the shot.

I watched the first 15 minutes. Although these are outstanding players, there were way too many unforced errors. 5.0 players shouldn't have that many. Other than that, great play at the NVZ, and they had few pop-ups, and everyone was quick to get at the NVZ. Thanks for sharing.

they are 55+....they aren't gonna have their best game everyday. just like roger federer getting beat 3 straight sets. bad days do happen.

I was tennis player but Pickleball is so much more fun and strategic. Every single tennis player including a top junior player I know who said the same things as you then once they play just once they love it. Tennis at the grass roots level is dying, PB is going gangbusters. That's reality.
