Yeah, I’d recommend trying a metal one over the plastic version. The metal one is easier to use

I need to do a clean up, have 4 snuffers and all my con containers are full. Lowes finial got the rubber mat for a clean up sluice, got a piece 3 foot by 5 foot for under 15$, I got out of moccasin creek Tuesday at about 4:30pm. going to get me some more classified from that undisclosed location and do the same thing next week. I had two buckets with large flakes one with chunks, zeroing in on the deposit one bucket at a time LOL

You can find it in the mat section at Lowe’s, the cut it to length for you so it’s usually on a big roll

Just go to the flooring area and ask one of them it is on a roll 3ft wide 500ft long. Was 2.85 per foot here. I may make a video of making this cleanup sluice. I wanted a larger one than a plastic gutter sluice but the same way of attaching the mat.

Yeah that plastic one is heavy and bulky, the metal one is much easier and more lightweight believe it or not

It’s a dream mat sluice, 6”x 24”, got it from sunny mountain prospecting out of Colorado.

Gold real not float away. It will stick to bottom. If it looks like gold and keeps try to float away from the heavier, then it's fake
