Because you need use it to Qualify down your dirt before sluicing it over your Ripples😂😅.....IYKYK.....lol in all seriousness it's a good video for nooby's entering the hobby. Great job on the vid we appreciate your effort. I know it ain't easy to film yourself out there in the stream. Thank you. Ps.Im just busting your chops on the first bit..... A Classifier* for your material and Riffles* on the sluice are the proper terms. Not a clarifier/qualifier and not ripples. 😜😉

I have that same mini sluice but never had it in the creek. I have used it at home recirculating. This was a very nice video and informative thanks!

Thanks for the comment 👍 I was actually surprised by how well it did. Just can't run a lot of material. Yet it packed in nice and accomplished what I intended. Was on a creek today with another prospector and used a larger sluice. Editing the video for Sunday's Upload. Thanks for watching!

how do you use it at home I'm new to this stuff just ordered one for my bday while my wife did for me it'll be here on the 7th got the backpack kit that comes with the mini sluice but would like to know how you use it at home.

I just retired n am a first time prospector I bought a nuget bucket first then clasifyers pans a sluice n a mini sluice its winter here rivers n creeks are frozen still n lots of snow here in maine . I Loved your Video Thankyou am subscribing to your channel I really enjoyed it

Just bought a pocket sized sluice did first test hit, didnt get any gold but it sure caught a helluva lot of black sand

Yes surprising how well it works and if you're catching black sand if there's gold in there you're going to get that too for sure happy panning
