Nice set up good pan of gold it's all about having and getting away from the city.

Hey Kyle, just a suggestion. When you pull those bigger rocks out of the crack, wash them off because I noticed that there was still a lot of dirt on them. Gold will stick to those rocks. I’ve found flakes on rocks pulled out of the clay.

Great video and set up, I'm waiting on my gold cube and trommel to show up this week. I'd like to say that it wouldn't take any time at all to classify down to -2 (1/2") and I bet it would increase your throughput substantially, by not having to deal with those larger rocks and other debris clogging up the trommel and slowing things down. Just a thought. :)

I really like trommels. Thanks the video.

Rather then tossing all those chunks of quartz you need t be running through a mill then panning or cubing the dust. This has paid off for me often! Dont forget to flood and dredge those cracks for the stuff you missed too!

Lucky man, no way my wife would even spend a hour working for Gold. She just looks for it in my wallet🤣

Man that rig would be killer to use out here in CO especially up by Leadville / Cache Creek area when the ground thaws out.

One more thing sunny , on your wash up , your flower gold is floating right out the tote on the bubbles
@rickdees2516 жыл бұрын
You need to wash out those cracks with water and collect all that fine material your leaving. That is where most of the gold your missing is. Flood the cracks with water and suck out the material.
@Badbeau6 жыл бұрын
100% correct on that one, my thoughts exactly. I have a 12v wet/dry vac I picked up at a thrift store for like $4 and it's perfect for such a job.
@rickdees2516 жыл бұрын
Perhaps you could also have a small pump for squirting water under pressure and just suck up the water and material with that vac'? Summer's coming get to it. ;)

I just don't understand why you are not using a saftey pan panning in the creek maybe I'm not seeing the safety pan IDK , but anyways I really like your video's. I my self have found Missouri gold up here in Macon county. Thanks for your video's use that safety pan!🇺🇲

How well does that Miller table work? Did it get better with age?
@billcoley85205 жыл бұрын
Hey when you get the crack cleaned out, put a bunch of miners moss in the crack. Next time just pull it out and wash
@MD-NWWI4 жыл бұрын
Do you still have your gold cube? I bet it would work awesome to cleanup after that 4 inch proline dredge you're running!

I had to really magnify this video to see the gold, but I guess you got some specks. This is not what I expected but as long as it is getting something. I use the Minelab GPZ 7000 and a 19 inch coil that I got from Minelab, I am wanting to get a 23 inch coil as well. I hardly ever use the 14 inch coil that came standard with my detector. When I get a contact, there may be up to 20 minutes or even 30 minutes of digging, but I usually get a decent nugget, worth about $500 or so.
@Kylethiemann5 жыл бұрын
Das Boot nice ! Wish I knew where I can bring my detector to find those size nugs!

how long does your batteries last running the gold box

Nicholas Parnell they last me all day
@jimmurphy47035 жыл бұрын
You need to pan off the blond sands and then put the concentrates over the table and you most likely left the best gold in that crack . Yes it’s a learning curve

I would of washed the crevice clean with water.I bet there was loads of gold stuck to the sides.
@igorbanski51576 жыл бұрын
I know it's the thrill of the hunt, but you could actually make some money with silver ore in Missouri. I'm in Arkansas and have finally given up on gold. A few specks per pan or 1 gram per month just doesn't do it lol I do have some good silver leads though. Awesome video btw

1/4 inch crack? Try a slim Jim with a shared edge on it , it’s thin enough to open a window it should work in a crack

Counter productive with the trommel
@BiGSmooth90102 жыл бұрын
Why do you say that? I've seen a ton of gold come out of those small trommels and it cuts down on classifying your material.
