Love that you added Edin Avdić's statement, he really summed it up well. We used to worship players that were good, some even all star level like Vlade and Peja, but never did any of us think we'd live to see one of ours being the best player in the world (i mean what are the chances we as a nation of 7 milion people get to have the best basketball player in the world AND the greatest tennis player of all time) It truly is like a dream.

Truly. I went to a Nuggets game in Denver a few weeks ago. He makes the game look so easy it's ridiculous. The number of dunks, layups, wide open shots and points in the paint he creates for himself and his teammates is remarkable. The Nuggets scored 38 points in the 3rd quarter to put the game away and it was so effortless that I didn't notice the domination until the quarter ended and I looked up at the scoreboard.

I think Jokic this coming 2024 season is gonna take it easy. I'm thinking just 10PTS / 15REB / 10AST. Don't get me wrong, he'll step it up in the playoffs. The thing is he's a beast of a teammate and game master. He knows they've got new pieces so it's a priority to develop the new guys and team chemistry. Plus, it's top priority to stay healthy.

The thing about Jovic is that he's not just a player, he's the embodiment of a culture that is very conducive to winning. The fact that many of his teamates have been given up on on other teams, gravitates a certain level of respect when playing with him. Moreover, his size and style of play is not as injury-prone as other high-flying big men. I wonder what happens if Malone isn't the head coach, but I'd rather not find out. It's a joy to see this Nuggets team win Championships.

@ Trice @3:15 They were not healthy even at Buble. They start 2020 NBA play off without starting SG and starting SF Geri Harris and Will Barton. Harris was back later in play off, but injured. This was the first year when they are all healthy in last 10 years.

I’m always in awe of your videos. Although, I thought you were going to highlight how the masses doubt him, but he silently proved them wrong. I remember all the times tv personalities state he didn’t deserve the previous MVP awards. How they minimise his abilities because he wasn’t athletic, and so on.

I always root for Denver & Memphis in the West I love the Cities / States & colorways. Jokic's basketball IQ is still underrated imo the guy plays to win. Giannis may be more physically gifted however Jokic is more skilled, a better shooter & a genius.

My favorite player as a little kid was Larry Bird. The first book I ever read as a little kid was the Larry Bird biography. In the book Larry Bird talks about fundamentals being the key to the game. The fundamentals of basketball became my favorite part of the game. I was a pretty good player in my small hometown and it was because I worked on my fundamentals. With all that said, I'm a big fan of Nikola because he is the epitome of fundamentals. It would be something special if Nikola could pull off the repeat. But, I am a Celtics guy so hopefully the Finals are Celtics vs Nuggets. Let's go!

It is sad to see the guy who embodies the most pure version of basketball's essence be largely disparaged by the media. And NBA. His humble attitude and disposition make him THE best role model for the narcissistic youth of today. Yet the league took the route of marketing around flashy players, contentious and pretentious, self-centered and drama-ridden. They are extremely uncomfortable with the humble and jovial foreigner dominating the sport.
