The stone is called 'goldstone' and it is a man made glass, not an actual mined stone. Very nice weave, works well with the stone. There is a dark black/blue version of this stone called 'blue' goldstone, which is very pretty also.

I have a similar stone that came with a bundle many years ago..I wonder if that's what mine is..its a black, thin square with silver & blue sparkles..it came with a bundle of semiprecious stones so its not suppose to be man made..guess I should look that up..lol
