Thankyou for the video. I have a transit of 3.5 hours in dubai, terminal 3. But problem is I land in dubai terminal 3 at 11.30pm and my next flight to bangalore is at 3am. Will these stores be open at midnight? Where is the shop located in terminal 3? Also, I heard that gold in duty free is much more costlier than outside dubai streets like dubai shouk. What's your opinion on this? Is dubai duty free cheaper than Indians rates? Finally, I think we can not bring 24 karat gold from dubai. How is 22 karat gold in this shop? Please comment on both these questions. Thanks in advance

If you have stayed outside india for more than 6 months you can carry gold as per the limits stated by Indian custom laws. Dubai gold souks are much better than airport duty free shops. Yes, there is a difference in price wheb you buy from souks. You can negotiate price in souks. You might aswell get your VAT refund from the airport before you board the next flight. 22 karat gold is good as well. Compared to India, I saw a difference of 500 rupees per gram.

@MittuBittu no sister. I'm going for a trip only. Also i just checked, the difference in rate as of today between dubai and bangalore in rupees is just 300. May be if you include the making charges it will favor dubai (as you told 500 also). For 1 lakh purchased, I will max save 15k with that 500 rupees discount. And if you buy 1 lakh, it will most likely be a Bangle and as you mentioned in the video, might very easily be brand new and chances of custom catching is high. Now if you buy a ear ring, you might spend 20k and the savings will also be around 2500 rupees. Now for 2500 rupees should I really go and buy for the sake of buying something with all these tension.

Ok, thanks for the information. As per the law, only a person who is residing outside of India for more than 6 months can buy gold upto 40gms women and 20gms men. Again there is a loophole in it. Women can carry upto 40gms or value upto 1lakh. Ippa irukura inflation ku, 10 gms jewel eh 1 lakh ku vandhurum. I got an earring. I didn’t want to take chances in buying the bangles and all.
