In the reverse wave, the only step the man takes going forward is the very 1st step and the footwork is heel-toe since he rises on that first step. After that, every step he takes is going backwards. Therefore the footwork from the 2nd step onwards can't possibly be heel first as you stated. (Footwork for the 1st 6 steps is heel-toe, toe, toe-heel, toe-heel, toe, toe-heel). So I don't know what you are referring to in your comment. Love to hear your explanation. Andy Wong, The Grand Ballroom

The footwork shown in correct. The back Three Step is exceptional in that the second step does not have a toe release (and the lady steps forward on the heel).
