Dam good spot. Only did 4 hours over 2 days and got a bit. 3 out of 5 days its been pissing down and i dont work in the rain. Found some bedrock not far from town and slowly working my way through it. Goal is to fill a vanilla essence bottle in 3 months🤑

Dude! find a stream called "dead horse creek" that flows into moonlight creek. Best gold I ever found in my life!

bfk1970 okk thanks mate...iv never really done Otago...just a wee pot around the Arrow. I will have a look at the maps...no claim on it that you know of..? I’ve spent a lot of time up moonlight on west coast and ok at times but it’s very patchy.

@@bbdgha I think it was mined back in the '80s but just above the mined area there is some bedrock with plenty of great crevices
