How to watch this video: in Settings (the six-pt star icon), change the speed. Watch for the first time with the speed higher so you can see what gets done in it without worrying about how it's done. Then watch it a second time with the speed set as slow as possible (75% for me) and pause it every time the mouse moves to a menu you don't know about and back up if needed. There's a lot in it and the way it's set up it makes it easy for each of us to ignore the parts we understand and get quickly to the parts we don't. It's not a video instructing beginner users and going so slow you'd rather read the manual than watch it. Instead it demonstrates visually how to create a gold look from separate visual elements. But which Inkscape buttons to use is in there too, if you pause the video at your own pace. It's less confusing if you already know there's a gradient tool option in Fill/Stroke (I didn't know about all these variations possible, thanks!).

Okay this worked, however, I was trying to follow along step by step and you kept doing things like undoing stuff and moving stuff and then moving it back... I feel like next time you make a tutorial, just do what you need to do and don't jump around so much. Thanks though
