They're for guitar players who need a banjo sound fast (in pit orchestras, for example). They don't sound exactly like "real" banjos because of the number, sequence, and tuning of the strings, but they can work in a lot of situations.

I dont get it can you help me out man, are banjitars a real instrument, or are they made for guitarist to look like than can play a banjo too?
