Top ten match of the last ten years. In an era where everything gets leaked and everyone knows what's coming, NOBODY saw this coming. And Brock and Goldberg got a more visceral response from that crowd than anything else that year in less than two minutes. It really was a special moment. Sometimes it's simply about crowd psychology that makes a great match. Not the length. Brock selling those spears, Paul Heyman begging Brock to come to, Goldberg just being Goldberg, commentary going 'OH MY GOD!' when Goldberg signaled the Jackhammer was coming, and that crowd intensity was just incredible.

It's hilarious to see Goldberg on here with the British Guy after the thousands of shoot interviews that Bret had with the British guy complaining about Goldberg kicking him in the head as hard as he could and ending his career.
@namikstudios7 ай бұрын
If Goldberg kicked Bret in the head as hard as he could he would be dead. The truth is that Bret caused his own concussion by botching the figure four around the ring posts earlier in the match and smashing the back of his head really hard into the ground. Bret was visibly concussed from then on, well before the sidekick which was executed correctly. Was never Goldberg's fault.
@NoneofYabiz-rx3zi6 ай бұрын

Haha, Brock has a glass jaw, he proved that in UFC. Goldberg has been hitting his head on doors and lockers all his life. He cracked his head open on the ring post vs Undertaker and still stayed on his feet while concussed in 113 degree heat. He speared that canvas vs DDP in WCW after striking the ring post and still muscled DDP up for a Jackhammer while not knowing where he was. Goldberg’s side kicks, strikes and punching techniques he exhibited during his WCW days and 2004 WWE days show enough of his abilities to where I’d have my money on Goldberg in a real fight against Lesnar any day of the week and twice that amount on Sunday, even if Goldberg was 75 years old.
