Great interview, just shows how much of a difference having a knowledgable interviewer makes. You need to know your stuff to ask the right questions. Great job really enjoyed this 👍

Excellent interview. I would certainly want to read books by John and Ginger about what they've seen. Even though I am guessing that some of the stories would make me question whether the term humanity could apply to all people all the time.

Great comment about 90's journos, they sub-genred UK music to death...it sort of shows how "on their last legs" those Music Mags/Papers were in

Great interview, interesting for sure. Going back to what Ginger said about ignoring the critics, agree totally - i was put onto an album by Ginger many moons ago by The Lee Harvey Oswald Band, seriously good. Would rather have recommendations from musicians around new things to listen too than critics, same for live shows too!! Keep up the great work both of you and stay safe

Two of the finest gents in music. Top notch. BTW, I’m sure the Manics tour was for Generation Terrorists which would have been ‘92.

Thanks! I think it was that tour…I was at the Birmingham gig…

I was talking to this guy about 10 years ago at the headcat show in Islington. I didn't know who he was at the time, but he supported them. untill he came out after the show, people thought I was him 😂 there's actually no resemblance other that the hair and clothes at the time.

I can see what Ginger said about Renaissance Men having a "best of" feel to it, but I'd rather think of it as a return to form. I wasn't so keen on the white album and Chutzpah era, although those albums still blow away 99.9% of other bands output. 21st Century Lovesongs is just incredible though - an equal to Earth Vs!
