I have one main problem with Solskjær and that's the fact that because he now has his dream job, he won't do anything to give it up. Pereira should have been in the team due to set pieces in fact who bloody Hell changes winning team after one match? With Shaw and martial picking up injuries I guess it's an opening back again for Rojo and young :( Also pogba should be playing as a no.10 on top of a diamond midfield, we are losing out on his goals, assists, burst of speed from central position and hold up play with him playing deeper. Plus we need a vocal captain rather than de gea.

At Monaco he was winger and performance was good so man United bought him as winger to replace depay at that time. Martial wasn't that good last season, Lukaku had more overall impact last season. But I do agree with you that martial should be striker.He has in potential everything that a striker needs but there is nothing so far he really master. So I also hope he can shine and be consistent this season but to be honest it's gonna be hard with our midfield there is no creativity.

Pereira is not good enough to play in the midfield, doesn't get involved enough although he has good deliveries and Lingard isnt good enough either except his pressing. Fred should play in a Midfield three with mctominay and pogba and he will help us control the midfield and he will support mctominay Defensively and support pogba in terms of creativity. He will add pace, tenacity and much needed creativity from the midfield, he's also good at set pieces.

Utd didn't fix their midfield (priority) and attack in the transfer market which explains their lackness of creativity in midfield and attack.Scott is too slow with ball movement and I think pace is simply not enough to open up defences upfront. This was bound to happen.Nothing surprising....
