@Behizy the difference with defending tactics and attacking ones is, if you're attacking you only have to get it right once. If you're a defencive team you have to get evey decision right.

I saw lots of good moments from Martial. Good runs into central areas when we recovered the ball. Massively encouraging to see this from him. A solid performance in very difficult circumstances. Lindelof also had some good moments. I like how he stayed on his feet and didn't fall too easily for City players feints.

The difference in styles were pretty obvious. We were slow, unmotivated, not imaginative and, put simply, a class below. No ifs or buts! City players were fully mobile making moves in the empty spaces, while our players would not mark them closely, giving them lots of space to be creative. ..and the pace! What the hell? Herrera was caught several times in possession loosing the ball, only because he was holding the ball for too long. We must come to admit, City is a cut above us with speed, fitness and creativity.
