It's fall and its finally raining outside again in my rainy state and I'm watching this, it's that cozy vintage feeling like visiting a house with carpet floors in the bathroom

"What's going on here and I don't care." That put a chuckle in my mouth and a smile on my face! This was fascinating! Thank you very much!

Anaconda caused renal failure when used in excess related to phenacetin. Eventually reformulated after phenacetin was banned.

A lot of the tongue in cheek commentary about the "WOW! its got XYZ ingredient - so buy it!" along with the glamor shots on why you need the product remind me of the book The Waste Makers (1960). In this book the author Vance Packard goes into detail about the advertising techniques that crept up on the American public after WWII and how a lot of it was hyped up to create competition for customers dollars and false demand. Fascinating read if you are a fan of this era of advertising. The book is also eerily relevant to how things are now in America when it comes to advertisers and customers.
