I did the stretch in winter with blowing snow at night, when it was still a 2-lane highway. Take your time, and give lots of space, although we had mostly dry pavement.

We are going to the Shuswap this summer . I drove this stretch of road 25 yrs ago to go to a family funeral. Beautiful scenery but terrible roads if your a flatlander as I was called by the B C family. The stretch of called the 10 mile hill was awful. So glad this is 4 lanes to Revelstoke. Nice video

Yes, I drove this road dozens of times, summer and winter, however, it was the old road and it was a challenge at times but I enjoyed it. The drawback was the heavy truck traffic going slow uphills. This will be over soon. The winter driving did not bother me much but I will find out how the new road will be coming December. Thanks for the nice video
