Thanks for sharing this game with us, I learned a lot. Great patience on commiting to boxers, great analysis, great content despite only being a top3 finish. You said this one goes into the trash but I have to disagree. You're literally the only high MMR player that uploads games such as this one and they are 1000 times better for actually learning how to play than another crazy highlight reel. You're a beast, Shady, keep up on it!

Question: at the end you magnetize the taunt/divine shield minion onto someone but the 2 beatboxers don’t get taunted. Is there an interaction I’m missing causing them to not get taunt??

Havent seend the full video yet, but it is usualy because of pants If you use pants on beatboxer the cant get taunt back except from another pants

I don’t understand why shady is so much slower than other high level players. He is the most mindful and clever out of all of them imho. The only thing he’s missing is high level apm. Could be rank 1 easily

@@matthewhartman1855 yeah he is. But really sometimes soo slow. I have 10k rating and I play apm builds more faster even on my slow old pc, but am just much less experienced and clever than shady

Honestly, when watching him, there are few moments where he could have done an extra action or two, but the apm only appears slow because of all the animations being slow and needing to wait for them to finish.

I mean he plays the game a lot less competitively tho. He takes more time to explain his plays, he is probably a bit older and also a family father. All of these factors might take some speed away but in the end its not about optimal gameplay, its about entertainment and he is a damn good streamer imo. He shares his thoughts, doesnt act like he knows everything and interacts with his chat. I dont mind some slow plays here and there in the bigger picture

Interacting with chat and explaining every move takes its toll on his performance for sure, but that's a choice in favor of content quality that I can get behind. He just suffers from a couple of bad habits that he himself acknowledged in the past, like in this particular game buying assistant guard multiple times. Stat gain is miniscule and goes onto support units while the animation on this thing is horribly slow which is very detrimental for apm setups. Same thing with buying a lot pandas and shell collectors when he's infinite and doesn't need a specific spell, also a huge time sink for minimal gain. On this level and speed of play it's damn hard to be conscious about buys that seem logical but are actually not so I can't blame him. Being able to process things at this rate and simultaneously provide great educational commentary is a feat of its own. For that reason I struggle with watching Beter for example. He's clearly performing better but jesus almighty his pronunciation is so bad and commentary so scarce and uninformative that I find it difficult to enjoy his content.
