God even after that amazing, emotional and stunning performance she was still humble and went wow when the golden buzzer was pressed and the golden ticket tapes fell down.

I don't get it. She was credited on the soundtrack and on the movie credits as the singer. Why are people acting like she's an unknown? How is it fair to have a competition for unknown amateurs, and let the woman who sang the song of the year compete?
@karlshaner2453
@karlshaner2453 Жыл бұрын
@@TryMyMartini She had no singing contracts. There are millions who make money singing but have no contracts. If you said none could be on your show, you would not have one.What should astonish you is why they allow such cheering and clapping to interrupt the singing! Very low class.

@@TryMyMartiniShe was unknown. Her name may have appeared in the credits but she was still an unknown. BGT & AGT is more about unknowns, not necessarily about amateurs, although there are a fair share of those as well. Almost all the singers on these shows are generally on a world class level. Many of the singers we see have cut CD's, toured the country and/or the world, have appeared here and there, you would be surprised. These shows were never strickly about amateurs. You will find that many of the singers and other talents are already professionals at what they do. That was never a secret. We've known this for years.

Great a Well Deserved Golden Buzzer 🌟 First thing is that I had never seen or heard of Loren Allred until the Notification from my Subscription to BGT and their affiliated Events. Once I watched her Audition I then researched her out carefully. I've been in the Production industry so I know Not to comment without proper research. I hope that this will explain everything that I've written. Therefore I'm reposting my edited comments that I have put together from other postings to give everyone my understanding on how I see Loren Allred Regards to Loren Allred and the Negative Comments replies or Posting and don't understand what the difference between a Professional Performer and Amateurs who don't normally get paid. Anyone who gets paid for performing is considered a professional no matter how much money or popularity they may have. It's to what level Artist reaches in their careers. In regards to her Actual Audition remember there's a Lot of difference between Performing and being Judged. The Best of the Best can still have Butterflies 🦋 and Shaking Nerves. All in All this is still a Fabulous Audition. Remember that this was a Audition not a Paid Performance. So let's try to see ourselves in her position putting herself out there taking and risking it all. It's been 5 Years since The Greatest Showman was released. She didn't take advantage of her position. Look at Loren Allred KZbin Videos. Although she's done some Great Performances and Live concert events overall in the past. It wasn't until this Audition at Britain's Got Talent that she's Finally getting the Amazing Response and Recognition. Let's be kind and support Loren Allred and others like her Still Chasing their Dreams. For those of you that think that Loren Allred Acted in the Greatest Showman Movie, She Never Acted in the Movie. She Sang The Song that was recorded for the Movie. The Actress Rebecca Ferguson Who played Jenny Lin The Character she's the one that suggested that Loren Allred sing the song and Jessica Ferguson would be Lip Syncing over the recording. Loren Allred name is only as part of the rest of the Vocal Ensemble You wouldn't know based on the Name Credits who sang what song. She's done a duet with Michael Buble. Watch on KZbin that Music Collaboration. The title of the song is "Help Me Make IT Through The Night" You'll see how Michael Buble after watching the Greatest Showman Movie went searching for the voice of Never Enough, when he figured out that the Actress wasn't actually singing the song. Yes she also performed with Producer David Foster in a Concert. That still didn't get the Recognition she's been working on for so long. Up until her BGT Audition Loren Allred wasn't a House hold by name by any means that you knew. Only in certain musical circles maybe Yes people knew of her. Now that she's Audition on BGT people are finally getting around to see what she's trying to make of herself So she's Very Deserving of The Long Overdue Recognition for her Vocals of that Powerful Song in the Movie. What a Fabulous and Humble Reaction that she seemed to be in awed by the Audience Reaction at the end of her finished audition.

She is amazing. Her original song she did on the show is fantastic. Check it out! You are right! The audience got to witness a music moment that is so beautiful. That was her Jenny Lind moment and Simon was the Greatest Showman. He gave her the stage.

People say she is underrated, but she's not. She clearly said she did not want to be out in the spotlight when it came to this song, but now that she is ready to reveal that it was her that sang it that means she will get more recognition.

Good afternoon, JB! Was enjoying lunch, and watching videos as a break, when I saw this reaction video. I'd already watched Allred's audition video dozens of times and sent it throughout my network and reaction videos are starting to be visible. So I clicked yours. My interest in talent shows isn't the product as much as the sociality between performer, their narrative, the judges and the audience. I'm a sociologist, and my work is focused on the tools of personal, communal and societal transformation. I'm fascinated by how people take risks to grow...often...to heal...in a world that is one long hot mess as we give so little time and effort to ensuring the world works for all...i.e., for each other. Something you might find interesting to note in Allred's video, with her audience, is how soon the crowd rose to their feet...and stayed there. Imagine for a moment that it had been just a regular person without a hidden faceless role in the movie. Most people had no idea the actress didn't sing the song...just consuming the movie product without much thought or attention to detail. But 'Never Enough' is a song attempted often in tryouts for talent shows around the world and singers can do fair a fair job, and maybe get a standing ovation late, some applause...but they don't match the Allred audience response...which stuns Simon. Why so powerful for her? Yes...great singer. Yes...great performance? But...what else? Joy...comes in surprise. Everyone in the auditorium/theater probably recognized the song...and were somewhat familiar with the singer's voice and power of the song in itself. No surprise there. Knowing this is supposedly the 'real' singer who was lip-synched? They didn't come ready for that and expecting it. Whoever knows what is real from the judges in these shows...really? But as any performer takes the stage...the audience is referencing each other for situational meaning and value. Do we laugh at this person, mock them,. devalue them for trying...OR...do we wait with the others around us neutrally to see what the stage performer will do? Few of us can come into those moments truly neutral because we all come with values, ideals and experience that shape how we see the person on the stage. Think Susan Boyle, or Jonathan and Charlotte, or Jahmene Douglas with standout auditions people didn't expect..because they carried the burden of all sorts of expectations from the social debris of the society, community and family. Then they start to perform...and the hyenas and jackals watching to see people fail...and others who are afraid of seeing others fall...all are brought forward into seeing in the unexpected highly skilled performance of the other who one is half-expecting to see as a possible trainwreck...and instead...we're experiencing power and beauty. Allred is singing from, through...OUR experience...of being invisible, non-valued, unknown...alone...in taking such risk of visibility and assertion of value. All of us...have been hidden...hoping to be seen, hoping the time will come to be seen, waiting for a signal. In rising in ecstatic joy for the unexpected performance from the invisible performer...we experience identification with the other, an ecstasy of self-expression of one's hopes and dreams. Suddenly, how exciting that they're achieving, succeeding, performing far beyond...our expectations. In other words...joyful for her as she did what I have not done. Note how the audience...is also part of that voice. If she'd been rejected and booed...ignored and things thrown at her...her voice wouldn't have been as strong, her notes less confident and her completion very different. The more they cheered...the more she could give voice...empower voice...risk her notes and dance with her particular gifts of presentation. We're a deeply dark species...so often. Ukraine, Yemen, Afghanistan, poverty, inequality and a gazillion injustices remind us every day as to how easy it is for males particularly to get sidetracked in concerns with having 'more-than' each other...to the point of willingness to kill each other's kids. The gift of self-expression...is learning the power of the sharing of gifts that relieves us of thinking we're not enough as we are. Thanks for sharing. Your face was great to watch as the child at core kept coming forward in its surprise and joy...an honest reaction to something you found beautiful. mark
