GOLDEN DAYS - LIVE MATCH FISHING AT YORK RAILWAY POND

This week I bring you a live match fishing video from the York Railway Pond. It's a lovely little venue that varies in depth significantly from one peg to the next and therefore it provides a great challenge for the thinking angler. With no two days the same, a variety of methods must be deployed in order to get the best out of your peg.
The variety of species on offer are roach, perch, ide, crucian carp, king carp, brown goldfish, golden goldfish, tench, bream, eels, golden orfe and maybe even some other surprises lurking n the depths!
The matches here are run by Adam Stone and entry can be gained by comment on the match posts on the York Railway Pond facebook group for anybody wishing to partake, nothing too serious and all are welcome. Link to the facebook group here: / 363414303684157

nice one... you looked a lot less stressed in this low key match.. nice venue.. thats my kinda fishing that.. scratching for a mixed bag of anything wi the chance of a bonus lump.... i always watch your vids(from my armchair) and im dying for you to try a medium waggler and pepper a bit of hemp etc.... good effort keep the vids coming mate...

Thanks for watching. It's a shame I couldn't film the summer series on the Ouse, I won that predominantly fishing hemp and tares, sometimes on stick, bolo or pole, waggler didn't really feature as I never drew the right peg for it but rest assured, when I do, I'll fish it.

I've been sick for 3 weeks Darren, I haven't set foot on a bank, that said the rivers have been completely inaccessible. with the inclement weather. Hoping to be fit enough to get out next weekend and then just need the floods to subside to get some river fishing in before the end of the season🤞
