They actually had a third hit on the US charts - When the Lady Smiles (1984) - but the controversy killed it. In the MV there is a scene where the lead singer attempts to rape a nun on a cable car (yes, can't make that stuff up). The music video was banned from MTV and that killed the song, so it was only on the charts for a couple of weeks.

i know who the singer reminds me of David Hasselhoff. It wouldn't surprise me if the song was in an episode of Knight Rider. Did some reasearch: "Radar Love" is featured in the soundtrack of the films Wayne's World 2 and Detroit Rock City as well as the video games Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80's and Rock N' Roll Racing. The song was also featured heavily in the Reaper (tv series) episode "Love, Bullets & Blacktop". It has appeared in two episodes of The Simpsons and is one of Homer's favorite songs that he doesn't know the lyrics to. Portions of the song were also used in Téa Leoni's sitcom The Naked Truth as the theme song.

You're absolutely correct. I saw them in the late 70s and it was one of the most rocking shows I ever saw. They really laid down a marker for what it means to rock!!! It's such a shame that they never got airplay on any of their songs except Radar Love and Twilight Zone in the United States because you're absolutely right, they produced an absolute wealth of awesome rock and roll...

Radar Love is real! I had a Radar Love experience myself, when I was a lot younger. I had a bad discussion at the (fixed) phone with my girlfriend. We put the phone down (me or she - forgot it) in an angry mood. A few minutes later I decided to make peace (and love) with her, but did not use the phone (she would not take it up). I jumped in my car and drove to her home. Halfway, one of the few cars still around at that hour of the night, I saw her car driving in the direction of my home (she had the same thoughts to make peace!). It was a wild night after that.

I GOTTA MOVE! which is one reason why i don't like many ballads. i like ROCKIN' SONGS! here's two suggestions i think you'll love that no one else reacts too.... 1) a song a just recently discovered on youtube called "Rocket 69" by connie allen. its from the 50s i think. the song is full of double entendres but it really rocks. i love it! 2) a 60s song from john mayall's blues breakers called "looking back." can't sit still when this song plays. 3) a bonus suggestion you lucky lady you. two versions of a song called "tobacco road." the original by john loudermilk is a bass driven groovin' song. and the cover by the nashville teens turn it into a rockin' song. you can play both songs, one after the other, in the same reaction video and compare the two versions. thanks for smile. why is your video image reversed?
