Something odd is that Bernkastel treats Will with a lot more of respect than she does anyone else(excluding Lambda) and is very tolerant of him. Will even disrespects her at times in EP7 yet she simply reacts by laughing and she was even willing to allow him to leave before he came to save Lion. Yeah, she basically forced him to work for her as her detective, but considering how Bern usually treats people, he was getting off easy. Weird, right?

Not especially. She promised him that he may leave when he finishes her case, and, as usually, fulfilled her promise. And, as usually, it was another thing that screwed Will up, but not straight lies from her. Then again, she multiple times reacted to Battler hating her with laugh as well, not turning him into a mincemeat or whatever. If you think about it, she rarely kills anyone in the plot (well, in comparison to most characters, that is), she does it only when it comes to what she embodies, a miracle. When it's Lion's survival that is concerned, or Ange's particular interpretation, for example. It's just there's too much attention paid to these things that we think of Bernkastel as the most cruel character. Having said all this, I think she could have easily slept with Will, Batller, Akasaka from another board, whomever. I just don't think she's capable of doing this out of anything but boredom.

If Bern represents Death, I can get why Lambda and Erika like her: Lambda is Certainty, and death is a certain thing for every living being. Erika is the detective, and the more entertaining mysteries are the ones involving death. If Death likes Will, what is him? I guess since he's a sort of mortuary, figuring out the the life details of the illusions he has to kill as a last will to not be forgotten. It's not that he likes to see dead people, but disposing of them in a dignified manner is a necessary job, one not many would be able to dedicate themselves to.

I swear, Bernkastel could have slowly skinned everyone alive in front of Will, and he'd just be thinking "I wonder if I should buy Diana a new toy. Can't really give her any special treats, since she can only drink certain kinds of milk. Or maybe I should buy an entire couch for her to tear up on a whim? No, that'd be way too expensive. Then again, maybe if I check out a thrift store..."

Luego de analizarlo, ví que battler no tiene ninguna ruta con esa bruja, me hubiese gustado un ship entre bern y battler, pero podria decirse que es casi imposible, personalmente prefiero a battler por varias razones antes que will, en fin, será solo una esperanza olvidada pero vigente en mi entendimiento.
