Thanks for all the comments...we are still working on the Documentary..all the individual entrants have their own footage..some have released it..others have not...we have copies of all that was shot...some was lost on boats...some entrants shot more than others so there will be some surprises in the DOCO...Jesse is doing a great job and we still need another $100,000 to complete so we are working on it...thanks..it will be worth waiting for :) ...and GGR 2022 will be much more access to much greater video's etc as it happens..Don

What's the plan for all the footage taken by the sailors Don? Will we get to see the event through their eyes? Really looking forward to learning more about their own subjective views of what it's like to be 'out there'. Thanks for all you and your team have done putting the GGR together, it's been an amazing journey for us all to follow - what it must have been like for the team organising it and the sailors out there on the seas, well, I look forward to learning more!

This is my dream and I only wished that there could be a class for 25ft to 30ft boats. Iv a good 28ft 1964 international folkboat I sent you the plans don back in 2018 in an email. You said she was a good boat I only wish I didn’t have to sell it to buy a 36ft as it’s my first boat and pride & joy and something for my kids to have when I’m long gone.

I think it is unfair to classify all of them except the finishers as 'abandoned'. Some of them wanted to continue but crashed their boats. Some of them quit willingly. Two different things.
