@@TheBoiMyers I heard they fixed the hitboxes, I got there after the patch. It was a perfectly fine bossfight for me. Camera is only a problem if you get cornered which is true for every other fight

Now that I’m watching this I realize whoever programmed this Hippo made it hyper specialized against players which makes it kinda weak against other huge creatures its own size. Much of its strategy against players involved picking you up in its mouth and chewing on you but if it can’t eat you at all it’s kinda trash.

One thing I honestly dislike about these "who would win?" videos, is that terrain matters as do boss mechanics; Godfrey has half of his moves (throws) removed, God-Eating Serpent has his arena removed... I dunno it's just frustrating as the game is still programmed to try those now impossible to pull off moves, as opposed to moves that actually would do damage.

If you are using a weapon with good poise dmg it is pretty easy to stagger him. I was using the Greatsword and if I managed to land 5 or so decent hits without downtime it would usually put him down for a critical hit. Landing the critical was a nightmare though because you have to run around and get to the correct side of his face and trigger it from a weird angle, so almost half the time it wouldn't register as a crit and my character would just do a regular r1 attack.

To be honest, im sure that if he take several tries, the results will be much different, because globally if we watch videos like this, some bosses are almost dead, and i think video makers run the fights over and over again, to choose the results which they wanna show, so these are not real, but corrupted results. As far as I watch these battles, you won't find a single video in which all the bosses are defeated (at least 1 boss will be winning the fight), which is suspicious to me.
