What they didn't cover regarding him. 1. He was hunted down by Mahmud Ghaznavi 2. He was a contemporary of another great scientist of his time Al-Biruni 3. Kitab Al Shifa is his magnum opus, which is still not available in urdu 4. He wrote extensively on wajib ul wujud 5. Ghazali issued a fatwa that if Sina and Farabi had been alive in his time he would have beheaded them on grounds of what they have written. 6. Mulla Sadra Shirazi expanded on Sina"s definition of soul.

BBC you mistakenly write if not intentionally the word of Islam instead of Muslim because it was Muslim's golden age not Islam's golden age. golden period of Islam is from the time of Prophet Muhammad صلی اللّٰہ علیہ وآلہ وسلّم 40 year's age to the 30 years after his death until the martyrdom of Hazrat Hassan the 5th or last Caliph of Rashiddun caliphate or 13 BH (before hijri) to 40 AH (after hijri). It is your professional duty to correct it.

There is no need repeat; no need of any philosophy regarding metaphysical or super natural reality after the descends of the prophets with divine message of the presence and oneness of the creater the Almighty the GOD the Allah! This has been further explained elaborated and proved by the last prophet hazrat Muhammad peace be upon him and the revelation of the words of GOD onto him peace be upon in the shape of last divine book Quran! Any thought perception understanding description and explaination other than Quranic verses are nothing but an art of playing words in a so called intellectual manner! Ibn e sina might have been an intellectual but we have to see him whether he is consonant with the Quranic Revelations or not! Only this aspect will make him a wise man in front of us otherwise there is a long que of such a high level academicians down the course of times to date!
