Wow. Talk about layers and depth. More often than not, gold leaf is used to provide a contrast, but by painting over it, I think it bought it all together, and helped create another depth to the painting. Loved what you did to the car, best camouflage I’ve seen in a while.

Hello and thanks for watching. We used the gold leaf to create a contrast. By painting over it, we give the picture more depth and the shine is there, but not too strong. Best regards

In our paintings, we combine two of our greatest passions: fast cars and art. Our goal is to create pieces that are not just two-dimensional but come alive in three dimensions as well. As passionate car enthusiasts, we love capturing the beauty and fascination of vehicles in miniature form. At HaZelNutZ, it’s not just about model cars - it’s about the connection between art, passion, and experimenting with different materials. Each project is a creative journey where we capture the essence of a car and transform it into an abstract work of art. I absolutely love the painting. I also have two questions for you. First, the 3 sponges I assume have different textures...one soft, one pourous, and one small soft and pourous one? Second...when applying gold leaf is there a trick to get leaf like texture and ribbing, or does the texture happen naturally from the glue and application? I appreciate any answer. Thanks.

To your questions: Yes, the sponges I use have different textures-one soft, one more porous for creating distinct patterns, and a smaller soft, porous one for finer details and blending. You can also use a sponge to apply the glue for the gold leaf. This will also give you a nice pattern. Best regards

Je reconnais votre travail d'artiste..😊 Mais.. j'ai espéré que vous cesseriez d'en rajouter.. pour moi c'est trop et en plus l'auto çà m'as fait mal au ventre.. Le début était tellement inspirant .. le fond en noir, et turquoise.. Le travail avec différentes éponges, le travail de la spatule ..le turquoise, le rouge, orangé , noir, blanc splendides, les feuilles d'or royales.. Vous êtes talentueuse mais de grâce..toutes ces techniques, pigments aurait trouvé leurs places sur plusieurs toiles.. Mais là mes yeux sont saturés.. Vraiment dommage.. Mais, il y en qui vont aimer, je vous le souhaite ! Je salue votre imagination débordante !😊
