Driving a train in America must be like driving a car in India, you have to whistle for at least 85% of your journey. 😂. Beautiful locomotives

The No. 17 York runs all year in York County Pa at Steam Into History NCRR. Good ride on 11 miles of track that will expand to 20 miles into York in the future. The sad news for the No. 63 Leviathan, it was sold to a private wedding venue in Elizabethtown Pa and runs on a 2 or 3 miles of private track.
@davidng2336 Жыл бұрын
@@HD-J.R. not sure if it’s a wedding venue, but I’m not saying you’re wrong. The main idea for its new owner is to recreate the Lincoln Funeral Train.

@@DynamoProductions-trains Thank you back ..From Australia .. I'm a rail nut and model rail nut too and building a room size modern era ATSF/BNSF transition era and after layout . I have no steam in it but the locomotives similar to the Golden Spike Celebration depicted in your great vid makes me one day want to seek a DCC version for my layout . That'd be cool .. Maybe one day too a DCC HO Scale Big Boy as well ...

Wait, I can't tell which is the Jupiter and which is 119
@DynamoProductions-trains Жыл бұрын
York is on the side the Jupiter was originally. Leviathan is on the side 119 was on. However, York is based off the 119s blueprints, just cosmetically altered, and Leviathan is a sister engine of Jupiter.

Lovely new builds indeed. Seems strange seeing them in suburbia rather than the iron horse in the wild west. Where is John Wayne when you need him. I think it would be nice to see one next to 4014 just to see the evolution of American steam. Great video.

Leviathan 63 was built in 1999 not in 2009.

Well, 2009 is when it was completed and publicly debuted.
