As a recovering alcoholic people need to realize that no one or nothing can save Ted. Ted is on his own path and before addicts get sober they have to hit a bottom. We can have one bottom or many. All people can do for Ted is pray for him and support him and help him in his recovery.

I like this guy. He has a very simple view on life and he just wants to live his life. "It's not what you've learned, it's taking what you've learned and seeing how far you can go".

Look at how confident he is now. Looking sharp in his suit and glasses. elbow up on the couch. He owned that interview. He has the makings of quite a philanthropist. He strikes me as a man who is far more intelligent than the world perceives him to be.

I was at first upset at Ted Williams for leaving rehab, but after thinking about it....the whole Dr. Phil thing...pushing his estranged family on him to confront him so soon, and making him go to rehab was just TOO MUCH. That would be too much for ANYONE to take. This man was put on national TV, on Dr. Phil's show, to be confronted by his family. That in itself was just too crazy. I think what he is doing now is for the best. ..and at his own pace.

When you were struggling and homeless, where did God go? When you started to succeed, people told you that God blessed you and that God helped you. But there might also be people who said that God tested you when you were struggling.

@talklouder1313 жыл бұрын
He's been getting better as it seems with all his social, mental, and physical appearance aspects obviously. So glad he is off the drugs and alcohol, and hopefully it remains that way. He is less jumpy and nervous, but is still quite jumpy and nervous and answers a few questions, like the last one, very indirectly and uninformatively, but he's still making good process overall as it seems by seeing past interviews.

Wow they have really cleaned Ted up. With the bright teeth and the suit. I am rooting for Ted 100% to be successful in this new opportunity in his life. However, it is hard to over look the fact that he won't go to rehab. Living in a sober living facility is not the same as rehabilitation. It may be that he really doesn't want to get totally clean. And if that's the case, unfortunately, this new chapter in his life might be in vain. He has to go to rehab before everything falls into place.

I don't have any proof, but I trust Ted Williams to say that he has been helped by God, and has had a spiritual experience. If you haven't ever had an experience like his, I trust you also. In any case, this conversation began on the premise that 'the world sucks, only a jerk would make a sucky world, God isn't a jerk, therefore he doesn't exist', which is what I have tried to disprove. I never said with absolute certainty that God exists.

@skylerruin He got sober and got the opportunities before he went to rehab. Money and fame came a little too quick so he had a drink and Dr Phil pushed him towards rehab. I got this information online like all other information I want to know about so you don't need to "clarify" anything for me. Instead do it for yourself..maybe then you can stop asking me questions.

Dr. Phil is a joke. ANY good therapist knows that to make any progress with a patient...the patient must feel safe and trust must be established. Dr. Phil deals in appealing to an audience which is a complete mockery of his profession...privacy is essential to foster an attitude of honesty in a patient...not defense. A studio audience is not privacy and puts the patient in a context of "go along or else WE will judge you and potentially ostracize you from the group". Blitz tactics areNOT help
