Sounds great with valve closed. With open valve it sounds like a race car with straight pipes, so it is strange to hear it on a daily driver. Closed valve - 9, opened valve - 4

totally understand you're very proud of it, but just don't compare it to an e46 m3. if an e46 is 10/10, this would be 7/10 i think. but it probably sounds as good as a heavily turbocharged inline 6 gets.

Have you heard single turbo or equal length exhaust on S55 or S58?? It changes the sound completely. SOOO much better. (but turbo will never sound like NA)

Probably im the only one but I think it sounds more like the s55 in my m3comp than an e46. But I do like it, a lot! I would put black tips on them. This looks to small imo with that biggg diffuser

Love the sound, gold did look kinda tacky. I understand what you're going for by removing the tips, but with the paint color, the big wheels and that interior it doesn't really make sense to me ? I think it would've worked on a white car with the 18/19 setup ("standard" wheels), and with an aero kit. Now that would've looked like an actual race/raw car.

I am more of a deeper rumbly noise (V8s), but I actually like this. Would not expect this sound to come from an in-line 6, let alone a BMW. I still like it, tho! Congratz, your car is absolutely stunning and I wish you many more happy kilometers with it.

2:00 4:50 I feel like a manual trans really helps an exhaust sound even better, often. Great to see a manual G80 M3 in this. 😂 It's just less poppy / farty. I prefer a sexy tone, loud .. but less crackles and stuff going on. I like the gold exhaust tips, but I'd prefer the regular steel look, or carbon fiber. Sound was about 7/10, pretty good. 🙂
