I still don't understand why judges only get to view the fight from 1 direct angle the whole fight. With modern technology there should be WAY more accurate ways to score fights. It makes me wonder sometimes if occasionally the judges are paid off in some way, or if they are promised more work if they vote for the guy that's with Golden Boy productions or whoever is promoting the fighters. None of the actual fights I've seen seem scripted or fake in any by the fighters. I mean they could put micro sensors on the gloves to see how hard and clean punches land, they could have full time 360' video that could determine which punches actually landed, if blows are actually low or not. Why don't they upgrade things a little. You could have one station play the fight and call it the old school way if you like thatt and then maybe they could have a more modern computer integrated system with more accurate info on the actual details of the fight, not just the one view the judge gets

I am an internationally certified taekwondo judge. 4 judges at each corner of the mat. I am also certified PKA kickboxing judge. 3 guys sitting together on one side of the ring, like boxing. No tape replays. The 4 corner taekwondo system is superior, of course taekwondo has made huge improvements in technical sensors to measure actual force impacts on the body armor. That has totally changed the competition.

It was a good fight.. I think if the judges were able to watch it the way we can and stop and rewind and get more than just one view Diaz would have won this fight. SO MANY of Perez's punches were blocked or partially blocked. He god in some good body work later but if you score that fight round by round. I think Diaz wins by 1 maybe 2 rounds....

I have seen JoJo fight , He was playing around like he was sparring with someone he didn’t want to hurt or just in his mind was thinking everyone knows I’m a pro and Perez is not on my level, whatever it was he was not the fighter I was expecting to show up, Perez was off balance and open to hit many times and JoJo stood there and let Perez hammer away on his head, I don’t know why JoJo was surprised he lost , I guess he thought they would give him the fight because of who he is, but when you count the points he lost the match. Perez looks like Brandon Figueroa brother, they haft to be related, he is a strong person losing all that weight , working everyday working in the gym and taking care of his little children each day, that’s really commendable. If JoJo had fought as in previous fight it would have ended early. I don’t know, I was in shock the whole fight and was wondering what actually was taking place.
