I pick up my new Labrador Retriever puppy in 17 days. I can hardly wait. I have two lab mixes already. I'm planning to start my breeder business when my new female puppy is two years old. I'm 59 and this is something that combines my love of Labs and puppies and I can do it for many years to come. I love your channel because you keep it real. I took in a stray pregnant momma in Feb of 2020 and she whelped ten healthy puppies. It was amazing. The problems were that she wasn't house trained and she kept trying to escape with a puppy in her mouth to go outside. I had to transfer mama and puppies at two weeks, to a real dog rescue place in Fort Worth because they had the facilities to deal with the mamas issues. I loved it otherwise.

My Golden retriever , Cyrus passed 2 years ago on 1/29. Cyrus was definitely my youngest son and lived 17 beautiful years with us. I was so blessed! My oldest son was a type 1 diabetic and we were preparing to get golden doodle to train to be a service mate for him. My son’s type 1 was acute and in 7 years it devastated his health and he needed a service mate to help detect his hyper/hypoglycemia episodes even before his insulin pump could detect it. I had another beautiful fur baby that was in end stage cancer so we decided to wait until the dreaded day for her to cross the rainbow bridge before we would initiate our quest for our new baby. Shockingly my 30 yr old son started to act strange one day and it wasn’t his glucose levels that was the source. That evening he became so disoriented he was rushed to the hospital via ambulance. 3 days later my first born son crossed over leaving his 6 & 7 year olds behind. In majority of the states grandparents do not have any rights even though my son had full custody my grand babies had to move to their mom’s house. You would think that would have been enough to take me to my knee’s but no I couldn’t have been so lucky. My fur baby girl crossed the rainbow bridge the very next morning. We were blessed to have 13 years with her. The last five months have been the loneliest time of my life ever! The quietness is hauntingly loud! I discovered that I grieve for my Cyrus & Dobie just like I grieve for my son Drew. I know that sounds crazy but it is the truth. I want a puppy so bad but I am not ready for one. I will definitely be getting me a golden doodle when the time arrives. I watched your vids to somewhat comfort myself. I see my Cyrus in your Golden’s eyes and mannerism. I cried when the entire litter was lost 😞. My heart is beyond devastated and I have been blessed with the vids you have uploaded. I know this was a personal story that doesn’t fit in this comment section but I needed to let you know how you’ve helped me. I hate seeing all of the puppies leave yet love that they are going to their forever homes. Looking forward to your next upload. Thank you for sharing the doodles with us. ❤️❤️‍🩹💔😭💔❤️‍🩹

Can you talk about what to feed puppy goldendoodles in the first year of life and what to expect? Love your channel! I am picking up my baby goldendoodle this Friday. I have a question I honestly would like to know. At some point I would love to get into breeding BUT the only thing holding me back is how do you set yourself up to mentally be able to let the puppies go? I'd get so attached and be over protective but I know I would love the process of breeding except that. Is it easier the more you breed and let go or do you mentally prepare before? How do you do it? Or maybe you are SO ready to let them go and get back to normal lol
