Gibt da ein tolles Interview mit dem Darsteller von Ulrich Nielsen... Der bringt es auf den Punkt! Bei ARD und ZDF wäre so etwas undenkbar, weil dort alles von der CDU und SPD kontrolliert wird und man dort keinerlei freie Hand hat. Netflix liest sich das Skript durch... Könnte was werden ist interessant, geben den Machern das Geld und lassen die einfach produzieren, keine Kontrolle, keine Einschränkungen... Daher sind Netflix-Serien teilweise so genial und Dark wäre im Deutschen Fernsehen einfach undenkbar gewesen!

Das stimmt. Meiner Meinung nach wäre die Serie für das deutsche Publikum allein auch ein wenig zu nischig, da sie nicht wirklich Mainstream ist und doch recht düster und komplex. Dadurch, dass Dark auf Netflix läuft, hat die Serie eine viel größere Reichweite, weil man sie weltweit anschauen kann und dadurch das Potential, viel erfolgreicher zu werden, als wie wenn sie nur im deutschen Fernsehen läuft. Und wenn wir ehrlich sind, dann verdienen diese wundervolle Serie und ihre Macher auch all die Preise und all den Lob, den sie kriegen können. :)

It's a bias you've developed due to association. His character suffers so much that he's become almost numb to it and his resting face shows that he's hiding all that suffering underneath. And you've become used to seeing him only as a character, as a result you now associate that expression of his with sorrow, even if it is in real life.
