The Happiest Millionaire and The One and Only Original Family Band influenced me as a child to really loving musicals. I sang this song all around the house. I was totally in love with Leslie Ann Warren and John Davidson. I couldn't understand why they never got married! Sooooooo talented and great together. The DVD is so reminiscent for me with a commentary by the two and Richard Sherman, the musical composer.

At 15 these two absolutely thrilled me and I went to see THM a hundred times to watch them do their mating dance. I thought they were the prettiest, most charming couple that could ever be. The Happiest Millionare was such magic, but the new counter culture of 1967 distained the movie and it got panned by critics. And none of the reviewers seemed to take much notice of John Davidson and Lesley Ann Warren either. Go figure...

Such a shame John Davidson wasn’t cast as the Prince in “Cinderella” with Lesley, but the late Stuart Damon was wonderful in the role as well.

They also made Disney's The Happiest Millionaire. It was thought they would be a major screen couple but by the time The Happiest Millionaire was released the big budget roadshow musical was just about dead. Well, at least they made two of them.

I first saw this in a movie theatre in 1968 and the second time on tv when it was broadcast on the Wonderful World of Disney in 1971.Thanks for sharing.💙

This movie is the last film with Walt Disney's personal imprint on it. He died during the filming. It deserves a widescreen Blu-ray release. The 2004 DVD is from a VHS pan and scan.

This is such an entertaining movie. I remember it well when it came out in the 'sixties. I just 12 years old when I first saw it, and fell in love with the songs and the performers. There are some famous old-timers in this production, and it's well worth renting or buying. Very entertaining, and educational. You'll get a nice history lesson, too.

I was a young teeneger back then, and did not like a lot of the people on TV but Lesley and John were two of my favorites. I thought she was captivating and beautiful and John was handsome, and such a good singer. Both were pure class individuals.I loved Lesley in the play Cinderella.

Lesley Ann Warren and John Davidson became good friends. They seen have chemistry with each other...great chemistry. They love working together as we can see.

John admitted in a fairly recent interview to Lesley that although he never acted upon it, as he felt she was out of his league, he had had a crush on her. Lesley’s response was “I had no idea… sounds great.” They both are good work colleagues indeed.

YES! They are Angie and Cordy! And this is Lesley Ann Warren's favorite song from her Disney archive! LAW cut her hair short after THE HAPPIEST MILLIONARE and I wonder if Disney was bent out of shape that they had to manifacture the longer hair for this follow-up???
