@@nthgth when you finish every stage on 00 Agent, you unlock 007 mode where you can customise damage dealt/taken, enemy health, reaction time and accuracy. So you max out the damage enemies deal and you’ll always die in one shot

Story time. My mom's friend's son gave me and my older brother this game when we were young kids. All slots were completed fully with all cheats unlocked. I don't think we ever got beyond Sufarce 2 Agent on our own, including help from our parents. Now as an adult I'm playing this on Xbox One and loving it. All 4 save slots completed Secret Agent, finishing up the last half of each campaign on 00 Agent thanks to your playthroughs and guides. Thanks for the help, and I love your talent!

Thanks! At the time I recorded this, I played around 7h. I must say, after lowering the sensitivity and deadzone I was able to go back to no auto aim fine. There are still times where it's harder than N64 trying to be accurate, but it's good enough.

Depending on what you mean by "remake" it could work imo. They would need to use the original cast (Pierce Brosnan, Sean Bean, etc) that look as young as they did for the original GoldenEye movie and game except with modern graphics. The music should be almost the same except bring back Grant Kirkhope and Graeme Norgate to make it sound more modern. That, along with modern graphics for the guns and level design would make a pretty good game i think. If its going to have a different cast (Daniel Craig, etc) or completely different music then i would not be interested. It would not be GoldenEye in that case imo.

Only ever in my casual gaming life, did I ever complete any games except for two. Metal gear Solid on the OG PS, and Golden Eye on the N64.. I feel like Golden Eye 007 is the best FPS ever more for the Music, Atmosphere, Gameplay, and of course the storyline. Now I play games like Microsoft Flight Simulator, World of Tanks, World of Warships on my Xbox Series X because I don't have the time, or patience to complete games in their entirety anymore. *Worth adding here: This game was really ahead of its time by far. Back in the day. Wow. Rare was awesome.

Loving playing this again. Tip for facility: instead of exiting at the end, don’t blow up the gas tanks and stay in the room, you get an endless horde of enemies,brilliant fun having a rumble with them throughout the level, especially with the cheats unlocked, all guns, infinite ammo, increase their health and yours too on 007 mode. Oh and DK mode for comedy effect. I lost many hours on my n64 to this 😂

When I play on Agent I find myself lost at times because I try to do 00 Agent objectives lol, the only levels I know to do Agent right away are those with cheat unlocks. Others I have to check what I have to do sometimes. It's still fun to play on Agent at times though, mindlessly.

What about the switch version? I wanna play this again, but i dont want any other xbox game and a switch would be a much better buy for me, but is it worth it on there compared to emulating n64 because my real n64 need new controller and TV it's a hastle

Not worth it. For the Switch version you'll have to buy the Switch itself when it is rumored that the next version is announcing soon next year, buy the yearly subscription for GoldenEye or online only, buy the N64 Switch controller to make it playable since they did not calibrate the sticks and the sensitivity on the Switch default controllers is abysmal. Stick to emulation on PC or other systems, much better experience than both Xbox and Switch. This re-release is not worth it at all.

@@Graslu00 Damn. Thank you for replying. I was hoping they fixed stick sensitivity on the remaster. It's a big issue when emulating, to get that 6-point 80 range right, and the switch n64 controller is not available here. The ones on amazon are not calibrated correctly either and retroarch is the only i can get to work somewhat decently with a xbox controller. You play good on xbox though!

@@lopwidth7343 On emulator you can get pretty close results with an Xbox controller and some tinkering, it's what I used for my Perfect Dark No HUD longplay and it played good. If you have Discord or Twitter so you can DM I can share my settings. On the Xbox re-release they got the controls mostly right, you can change the deadzone and sensitivity, but you cannot strafe run with the stick so you have to map the movement to the DPad. That's all the good it has for it though, it's 30FPS, has slowdowns, low resolution text and many issues that the original did not have like guards walking through walls. My recommendation is to forget about the remasters and use something like 1964 GEPD for the best 'remaster' experience.

That shouldn't happen, you sure you didn't just use all of it? Ammo is limited in Cradle and it's easy to not focus on it for a second.

You have to know how to pull the trick, have to aim at that area and turn around right when you throw it, and listen to the mine go "clank clank" instead of attaching to a surface. I recommend just going inside the door after finishing the Natalya objective if you don't get it with your 2nd to last mine.
