NIDOKING well, there's some truth to that but also if Messi is playing out of place in these simulations, it kind of skews things. Play Ronaldo in the middle, or Hazard... And you'll see them drop results as well.

In real life Germany reached the semi finals 13 times in 20 world cups, not taking part twice (1930 not invited, 1950 excluded). Only 5 times when taking part they missed the semis.

Okay, I'm a little late to the party. Today is 10/7 and it is 40 minutes before the semi-final between France and Belgium. Currently, the teams in the race still are France, Belgium, England and Croatia, which I guess no one really expected. I have scanned through these 500 simulations, in which only 3 include these four countries in the top 4. Simulation 55 has France 1, Belgium 2, Croatia 3 and Engladn 4, so that one can't become reality. Simulation 435 has England 1, Belgium 2, France 3 and Croatia 4. And Simulation 464 has France 1, Croatia 2, Belgium 3 and England 4, which means that there is a good chance that even 500 simulations wouldn't simulate the true worldcup. But I will report back on Sunday night with the final results.

He consulted the VAR but he couldn't decide either so the measured how far the ball went over the line so they gave 41% of a goal :)

Ok, thanks for clearing that up. My best guess was, that the referee in secret actually is a quantum physicist whom through advanced calculations had determined that there was a 41% chance of the ball going in and a 59% chance that it didn't. But your explanation makes more sense.

Become a footballer! You might get a good talent here and there but Norway's chances look slim with a low population country and no world class talent. Maybe in the future they could qualify but competition in Europe is tough and it may be hard to accept but from here in Scotland we have a very slim chance just like you guys and gals in Norway.

If Iceland can qualify with a population of 300.000, almost anyone could do it. Im from Norway as well, but I cant see us in a World Cup or the Euros anytime soon. We have a good generation of players coming, so maybe there is hope. But everytime we get close, we bottle it. Sad too see Iceland, Denmark and Sweden consistently making it, while we stay home.
