Global damage can be stupid effective in strategy games since the AI is rarely designed to handle such weird capabilities, or the global damage has a very specific thing it is countering. Let's take Strike Craft on a carrier battle computer BS in Stellaris. This can, and will easily counter an equal naval capacity of corvettes, and or destroyers. Another example of good global damage is artillery in Warhammer 3, having a few in one's army can easily swing the balance of power from heavily not in the player's favor to suddenly being in the player's favor because the AI bunched up the army during transport to your front lines. The final example that I can think of is the Drakon Laser drill from SC2, specifically in the mission "the dig" which allows the player to easily destroy all of the Protoss bases with a single floating barracks. My point is that global damage itself is not a problem, it's lack of viable use-cases in AK is. Having a tough time with high defense enemies? Why not bring a couple casters for consistent damage? Boss bouncing around? GG's drones won't target what you want them to target. Boss has a super dumb high HP bar? GG does not do the carrier thing where the damage ramps up to super high the longer she's on the field, I think if her S3 was permanent duration and releases more drones over time then she'd be comparable to ops like Rosa, but as its stands: "just place ops better 2head" does the job that GG tries to fill. GG's s3 has comparatively low damage per square under her juristiction with a dumb pseudo global targeting system. I'm sure there are some meme builds where GG can S3 nearly permanently using Liskarm's SP generating talent and Ptilopsis's SP gain aura, and Warifin's/Aak's damage increase. But why do that when one can just do something else and probably make a strategy that is more consistent..

I dont really care if GG bad tbh, i raise many "bad" operator like whisperrain, lee, hoederer, eyja. Arknight is about enjoying raising your fav unit anyway.

Almost all operators are good. There are far more ops considered bad by the meta that are actually good than the other way around. I've made videos about these exactly because they're unique outliers.

People actually waste Chips by converting chips? If it's a newbie-mid game player I can understand to rush operators, but end game players can literally just do dailies by spaming chips stage between events without any penalties, considering events give you enough materials to raise operators.
