Because it well planted, and probably big water change is the key. Good job. Healthy happy fish and plants.

Are they in a heated tank
@jackiekearney7 жыл бұрын
Bobby buck I don't think there's a heater. They can live even in a freezing pond and even up to 100°F. I think this are Thai goldfish. And in Thailand it can go really hot.

Goldfish, pleco, neon tetras....... How quickly did all those fish die from being overcrowded and in the wrong temps?

@kingbucky67 жыл бұрын
unacarafea internet petco fish keepers know absolutely nothing about the hobby of fish keeping that water is crystal clear every fish in the tank is bright and not showing any signs of stress. Also there is no fungus, fin rot or blot on any of the fish. If anything you should be congratulating the fish keeper on doing such an amazing job.

The constant flood of comments all over youtube videos of peoples' tanks saying they're overstocked is getting really old. There's no way you can tell by looking at somebody's tank if it's overstocked! You might have been told the "rules" of aquarium stocking and simply accepted them without question. However, it's by no means as basic as X fish per Y gallons. You have to understand the chemistry at play, i.e. allowing nitrates (in a mature system) to rise to dangerous levels. Asian fish breeders will often pack their tanks with fish and do daily water changes of sometimes up to 100% to remedy to build up of nitrates. Even Dandy Orandas, probably the best importer to the US of high quality Asian goldfish, "overstocks" his tanks and just does daily water changes to deal with that fact. If we absolutely must pester people about their healthy looking fish on youtube, the better question to ask them is "hey, what's your water change regime?" rather than "THIS IS CRUEL OMG TANK IS OVER STOCKED". Just imo.

I am a little late on commenting but I totally agree with this. People are so quick to judge and criticize.... It is frustrating and I am sure I am going to get it on my channel too.
