Goldfrapp is so good you sometimes can't tell if it's live or recorded. This is live, as you can hear the mis beat of the guitar and you can hear her breath as she sings. That is live. There is also the sound of the fans picked up on the mics. She is sooooooooooo good!

I can tell but I can see why people can get confused and it is hard for Goldfrapp to reproduce that studio sound in live performances...the Beatles couldn't so they stopped touring. Goldfrapp do an excellent job. It also looks like they play with different back up musicians and singers a lot

With most of the Goldfrapp live performances I have seen it seems to be a mixture. Live lead vocals but pre -recorded backup vocals. like the live DVD at Somerset House. I can actually hear Alison's vocals in the backup as well as lead! Still great performances.
