About 4-5 years ago Goldie was performing at a club in Vancouver, BC, when the fire alarm went off. It was a false alarm, but to turn it off the fire department had to be called, so to avoid deafening everyone, the power was cut and the club went nearly dim, running only on backup power generator (there were a few bulbs on that it could power). Out of nowhere comes out a guy with a goddamn tuba, and starts playing it. Goldie starts putting the beat with his knuckles. It was going on for good 30 minutes like that until the firemen came. The vibe was amazing that night.
