one of the most beautiful dnb/jungle track out out there, beautiful vocals from the late Diane Charlemagne gives this track the substance of eternal greatness. The crisp clean breaks, depth of bass and sinister melody allows the listener to experience the anguish and celebration of loosing a loved one. Goldie is one of the greatest (if not the greatest) producers in the genre. This is a powerful tribute to a true pioneer for female dj's. Valerie Olukemi. (Kemistry) of Kemistry & storm rest in peace Diane and Valerie.

This is an incredible track...I can't stop listening to it. It was made in 1992 before Kemistry passed away so I listen to it as a love letter to someone very present in his life...before the anguish...it's only now we make that interpretation and feel the sadness.

It is an ecstasy trip - extracted, encapsulated and put into music form. The "coming down" vocals from Diane at the end eerily remind you of the lingering and struggling empathy at the end of a trip. This track is (no pun intended) absolute gold.

@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 I get it. But the vocals on this track refer to an ecstasy trip. I wonder if Goldie was on something when he made this? Coz it really is DNB, completely out of this world.

This EP was one of the best pieces of vinyl I bought in those days. I love the vocals apart from the 'ecstasy' refrain which cheapens a beautiful track IMO. I used to here the dub version out a lot. Strangely this track doesn't seem to get played at so-called old school hardcore events. I usually hear the same 30 to 40 (if that, lol) tunes all night which is a shame as there were so many quality tracks in that 91 to 93 hardcore era, this being one of them.

Remember this so sooo well, back in school aged 14 rolling with the ravers blaring this on my Sony Walkman still sounds cutting edge today compared to what you get spewed out as music, ie three melody bars from start to finish, no beginning, middle or end, changing drum patterns, effects, melodies etc…just complete dross compared to the electronic music of the 90’s underground. RIP to Charlamagne on the vocals brilliant singer❤
