I wish we put all the resources into space exploration that we put into our military. We probably would already know what's doing outside of our solar system. Nice video, thanks.

Propably not. It's such a big space. We would need a real effort and continue it for millions of years and then we might have an idea and may have viable transportation.

Yes, we find new planets, colonise them and them leave once we have fucked it up.

Extremophiles can live in conditions that are inconceivable to us in numbers that we can only imagine...all over the universe. Its shortsighted to say that certain planets are either too hot or too cold to harbor life.

Just like some animals live in extreme cold temperatures humans cannot Also can adapt to heat🤷🏻‍♂️ maybe humans are too weak

I've just had enough of this 'goldilocks' zone ...IT'S THE BABY BEAR ZONE !! dammit ... baby bear's food, seat and bed were all just right. Goldilocks is just some tart wandering through the woods and housebreaking !! .... in the analogy Goldilocks would be the planet .... which requires a suitable environment .... i.e. baby bear's ! .... THE BABY BEAR ZONE !!!!!!!!!

Yup!!! It's what a parasite thinks like. Where can I find another fresh, clean place where I can jumpshit, invade and colonise.hmmm 🤔 (Musk)

I thought it got it's point accross very nicely about the subject at hand. The references to the habitable zone in any given solar system is understood. For kids or those who never thought they could understand science this is a good introduction and stepping stone. There were very few programs like this that pushed science outside NOVA. Don't judge to harshly.

I don't understand why many posters have such mean things to say about the video. Many have critiqued the level of sophistication in the video or the lack of intense rigor that would stimulate their mind. Seriously people? First, check your grammar and spelling first before professing that the video is beneath you. Second, you come to youtube for your scholarly does of scientific knowledge and wisdom? These are informative scientific videos. They are not here to get you your doctorate.
