eBay is the big winner here. This is questionable for Collector's. The eBay Vault fees are jumping from zero to a tiered percentage (12%+ for most cards). I graded with SGC just to get it to the eBay vault for no seller fees. In the future, I have no good reason to grade with SGC, nor will I be sending the cards to the vault.

It’s not the best idea from my perspective. The reason I say that is because when I buy a raw card on eBay, if it goes right to PSA, will anyone whip the card down for prints? Most cards are listed as “mint” but you can’t see if there’s scratches from just random pics of the card. Or if someone has two copies of that card and they send the crappy one to eBay instead of the copy you see online. I’m old fashioned and I like to hold the card I purchase before I decide if it’s worth grading. Just my opinion

If people use the feature and get nothing but 9's and 8's, it'll destroy the whole point of them making this move. It would be an insanely dumb move for them to pull anything shady like switching out cards and PSA claims they wipe cards down before grading anyway.

​@chrefboho13Yeah they want the cards to come to them so they can do everything quick and easy. They are 100% not going to clean cards. If a card has a little hair stuck to it, they'll put it right in the case with the card. They don't clean cards for anyone.

It’s probably more like 60/40 but which still can qualify for a 10. But i agree 60/40 looks off and should be a 9 at best if all the other criteria is gem. If a grader gives 70/30 a 10 they need to find a different profession lol…

Stick with BGS. Better quality, labels nicer, thicker card holder than that thin PSA one.

@@rattpoison1 Thanks for the rely. I always go BGS for Absolute Glass Cards and RPAs. I think TAG GRADING is definitely picking up some steam in the grading world also. Their "floating slabs" have superior presentation and I love the detailed reports that you get. Consistency is HUGE when you grade large quantities of cards.

So, as someone that lives in Australia, I can send my cards to the EBAY vault and once there, i can get them PSA graded directly and remain in the vault without the whole international order thing and not pay for all that insane shipping cost and months and months of waiting just hoping they make it back across the world to my doorstep, is this correct? Also, will i be able to buy cards from America and have them sent directly to the EBAY vault and not have to pay the international shipping price of like $30 AUD which is insane and holds me back from buying endless cards? If i could get free shipping like a lot of Americans get when buying cards in America.... WOW, my collection would double overnight 🤣 P.S could you do a video or a segment on everything international in regard to this as I'm sure I'm not alone in what I've said here as there is a huge market over here in Australia being blocked by postage costs, so anything to mitigate that would 100% echo through the hobby. I swear if they opened a PSA grading store in Australia, they would be backlogged so quick with the number of submissions 😁

You could sell them to yourself for cheap and have them sent that way. After you get them file a return give yourself a refund and close the case. Obviously you would need to have a friend or someone help. IDK but it's not right you can't get your own cards.

And that's why I never have used the vault. What about another covid type deal? Can you get your property if shi goes wrong at eBay or whatever too? What if eBay goes bankrupt? I'd rather keep them in my safes than at some vault I can never see or enter... for all I know, some employee could be throwing my stuff around or who knows what else.

@@SpinSatx honestly I don’t know how to answer your question because dealing with eBay I’ve dealt with customer service on now nine different occasions and I can’t seem to get my cards from my eBay volt and I’ve got three cards there that range from $700 to 1500 $so if people are reading these comments, do not use the eBay volt to say $40-$50 because now I am out around $2500 in cards that I can’t seem to recover

eBay revenue must have slowed….Goldin and PWCC were taking business…I have saved so much money by shipping to the vaults…this should pull more business to eBay…folks are worried about a monopoly but that never works….its in all of their interest to churn cards like the stock market and simply take a sliver of expense…..they will make it easier and easier to flip cards….
