I do not think that for Intern position you will have Design round because without any exposure to any product its not valid to ask design problem. When we went to NITs to recruit interns we didn't ask any design problem.

I did not hear from the recruiter later also the 7th round didn't go that well so i am considering myself on the negative side and neither i am following up because i got other offers and do not want to join GMS.

They are actually weird , I had high fever and cold, like was shivering but that recruiter didn’t reply on mail nor picked the call to postpone the interview , so I attended any how thought to be opportunity

@@mehmethasbikaynak1239 initially interviewer asked about Java fundamentals, then one coding qus, I solved it, then there would be some follow up qus may be some additional conditions and that would required to modify your code. I would suggest to go and brush up HashMap and iterator concepts. All the best

My total experience is 5 years 10 months, I got a call from LinkedIn. In fact most of the interview calls I get from Linked in (Walmart, Golman, Visa etc)

@@aditiray4332 Start with problem solving practice on Leetcode (worked for me) 1) Start with Easy questions 30 days 60 questions (make target acc to your time ) then medium questions and then few selected hard questions (improve your DS and Algo as well) 2) Start studying the internal concepts of the language you code in 3) Practice and start studying Design Problems 4) few common design patterns 5) basics of OS

Bro can you pls clear my confusion about programming language I have good knowledge in python but all the interview experience I heard have thier highest preference to Java and I found the recruiter also expects the same. Is that real that goldman sachs software role interview is language specific??

In the coderpad round the interviewer asked me specifically which language I am going to use for writing code and he was i think okay with lang other than pyton. But all other rounds they did not ask what language i prefer they gave problem statement and I started writing in java. What I will suggest that when you get call from goldman ask your recruiter specifically that u will be using python for coding and yoir recruiter will tell you the details.

I forgot the second question and have not written or taken screenshot for that but the other question was pretty simple which I remember, Ques: Return a string after reducing its k consecutive identical characters. And I just realized that I mistakenly wrote 90 mins my bad it was for 120 mins

Also, in coding round aas you mention you didnot solved all questions properly. Thus, what would/could be the crieteria for qualifying that first round? Pls answer. Wonderful interview experience! Good job and thankyou a lot!! Already subscribed!!

I did not solve 1 hackerrank question properly as only 7 test cases were passing out of 10 and one coderpad question I took extra time because i made a mistake and to debug and rectify it took bit extra time rest all coding questions i was able to solve properly.

For Design round I have gone through Educative.io two courses grokking system design and grokking object oriented also I reffered interviewbit's design questions and random available videos on youtube as well!
