Do you know if silver chains are nickel plated? I have some that are dark grey im not sure if it's rhodium or nickel

Will plating nickel with a higher voltage help with your brush kit? I keep running into hazy/cloudy spots, I’m running it at the recommend 3v

Plating at a higher voltage does not necessarily work with brush plating. We have noticed that the plate burns and does not look good with higher volts with brush plating. Try plating sample pieces that are the same material as your part you are plating and see what works best.

You will need a solution called Gold stripper. See if you are able to get it in your area.
