第一次聽到這首歌時我還是大學生. 正在經歷台灣的劇烈銳變, 政治的變遷, 經濟的成長, 房地產暴漲. 面對未來, 心情很迷惘不知道該幹什麼才好. 幸好有這首歌, 尤其是知道這是他的遺作時, 真的很感慨. 他面對的艱難困苦是我的幾千倍, 他都能用樂觀的態度面對世界和未來, 我們好手好腳有什麼好埋怨的, 這首歌幫助我和同學擺脫憤世嫉俗, 慢慢的撫平心情, 努力完成學業, 培養專長, 為就業做準備. 感謝蔡藍欽, 用他的歌聲和生命, 開導當時迷惘的我.

For those who came from the movie 蔡藍欽，is the singer and the song writer of this song. This is the first and last album of his. His heart wasn’t well since he was a child. Right after a month after this album was recorded, he died because of heart disease as an age of 22 in 1987. First he didn’t want to publish an album, because he didn’t want to be famous. So the record company promised no promotion no pressure , who knows it would be his last songs.

蔡藍欽（1964年11月15日－1987年2月14日）是一名台灣歌手兼詞曲創作人。 五歲開始學鋼琴的他，八個月後就彈完了別人得學上一、二年的上下冊拜爾教本，滿一年即登台表演，展現出不平凡的音樂長才；同年他的畫作「畫獅」，也入選了第一屆兒童美展。六歲那年，蔡藍欽破例以未足齡考入台北兒童合唱團，同年進入台北市西門國小就讀，此後六年皆任班長。 十六歲那年，蔡藍欽從南門國中以總成績第一名畢業，考入高中建國中學，之後順利升上台大機械系。但大一下蔡藍欽即因身體不佳辦理休學，後因兵役復召，暑假時再度參加聯考，雖然作文零分，仍以第一名錄取屏東農專畜牧科。在屏東農專養病的這一段時間裡，充份享受了陽光、友情和音樂。 二十歲那年的元月，他復學台大，重讀大一下。 二十一歲那年蔡藍欽開始創作歌曲，第一首作品為丁曉雯所演唱的《不再想起》。同年，開始為首張專輯《這個世界》籌備，並創作專輯中大部分的歌曲。二十二歲那年，整張專輯完成配唱，蔡藍欽卻在專輯完成後的一個禮拜，因休克導致心臟麻痺送台大醫院不治，得年二十二歲又三個月。 蔡藍欽從小是個品學兼優的孩子，到了大學他看到了更多不同於自己的生命，也因此看到更深的自己，他的創作養份很大的成份來自大學校園。對他來說，音樂只是他從小到大的習慣而已，因此在出唱片之前，他對唱片公司說自己：「不要曝光、不要出名、不要壓力」，這是他出唱片的三大原則，沒想到卻一語成讖。 2001年，華納唱片在台灣大學為其舉辦紀念音樂會。(維基百科)

I just watched this over a week ago and I'm obsessed with the movie. Ive watched it 5 times already. The actors were so handsome and I could feel the heartache when Birdy told Chiang jia han to leave him alone when in reality he loved him. Even when he grabbed Birdys face in the church Birdy looked like he was hoping for Jia Han to embrace him. When birdy followed Jia Han all the way go the seaside I loved those scenes as it reinforced that Birdy would follow him to the ends of the earth. Experiencing young gay love in highschool hits so different because it feels so strong as its the first love after loving your parents or like a pet, it's all so new and feels intense combined all the hormones involved. I broke down in tears in the Telephone scene as Birdy looked so tired, unhappy and looked like he longed for Jia Han and how Jia Han always cared about him. Especially when Jia Han tried to pretend his friend wrote the song out of fear of perhaps being rejected. I teared up again when Birdy confessed his love years later as Jia Han looked so broken realizing all those years they lost together. Such a tragedy of a love story being so right for each other but in the wrong place in time. Knowing this was a true story with not the same ending made me so sad. I still imagine them in an alternate universe being happy and loving each other. Something I'm sure we all long for.

Thank u. Our country, myanmar, has just fallen under the military regime again after the coup yesterday. We were ruled by military for five decades, and then enjoyed a brief democracy of five years, only to wake up one morning to see that our life & future has been turned completely upside down. I'm only 22 and was abt to graduate from med school next year, after we get covid vaccine & university reopen. But now vaccines aren't allowed anymore, University is uncertain, and the future is too terrible. 'm feeling really gloomy and depressed beyond hope. The future seems too dark & lifeless. I've been listening to this song on repeat for two nights, and it has comforted me a great deal. Sorry for the long rant, but i just wanted to say thank u from the bottom of my heart. I won't give up, and try to live well despite of everything.
