I installed a straight drop to the battery to plug in my battery tender. That same drop can be used to power things and, it can be used as an access point to check your battery with your voltage tester without having to take the bodywork off.

Regarding battery issue. 2021 DCT, 2 months old, bike would not crank after sitting overnight. Battery showing 12.8V but when cranking, dropped down to 10.2V, not enough to turn over engine. Solution: had battery replaced under warranty. No problems now for 3 months. Interestingly, the original Yuasa battery was not marked "Honda". The replacement battery was marked "Honda" I am guessing some bikes shipped with bad (defective) batteries or the batteries were sitting in some warehouse way too long. As an aside, the battery in my primary key FOB died after 4 months. Again, I am guessing original batteries were too old.

Yes and dealer no longer supplying due to battery issues …surprised not addressed by Datatool and may have been since my use

Yep, don't take this beast on a long ride without the manual and the backup key / code. Also good idea to take a couple key fob batteries.

TOUR mode is great all around mode. Haven't used RAIN mode yet. SPORT mode is downright scary. ABSOLUTELY not to be used in traffic.
