Many of these GL1200 LE fuel injected beauties have been parted out for the cash so they are becoming rare. On the exhaust, you might want to mask off the good chrome and hit the hidden corroded section with a few coats of high heat silver or aluminum rustoleum. Wondering if you have any cracks on the rear corners of the (ABS?)trunk - a common issue. If so, what would you do to repair it? Mine (117k mi) has that issue but it still doesn't leak. And have you refinished the gold Limited Edition eagle emblems? Mine need it, but I'm not sure how to proceed. You have to have some great fortitude and mechanical skills to tackle this restoration project. Hats off to you!

I do infact have the corner cracks on the trunk. I havnt really thought that far ahead yet on what I'm going to do about them. Thanks for the exhaust tip and for watching!
