GOLF BALL HUNTING - How To Find Hundreds of dollars worth of Golf Balls

Nice haul! I like to hunt for golf balls (and to play golf too!). I had my hoard up to about 650 at one point, with a one day record of 93. There's a par 3 that if the ball goes left into the junk, nobody's going in after it. Except I will, it's my go-to hole. Pro Tip: Most golfers (ie: hackers) are right-handed, and most golfers slice their tee shots. So, start your quest in the woods right of the fairway about 150 yards from the tee box. You're guaranTEEd to clean up! Happy hawking!!

I went golfing for the first time with my boyfriend last weekend (veteran crackerjack golfer of 30 years) and I was so excited to find tees and balls everywhere. 😂 I felt like a lil collector goblin out there and I had no idea this element could be a part of the game. My boyfriend was amused by my joy but I fear I’ll be the only Hector Collector of both of us. 😂 As long as we’re at pace I think I’ll be ok collectin’.

Lol, very fun. Yeah sometimes when I’m playing really bad with my friends I’ll just give up and start hunting golf balls. Some people even sell them!

How do you clean your golf balls😊

I filled a bucket with a mixture of soap and some rubbing alcohol. I scrubbed each ball in the bucket then let them sit to dry. Nothing too crazy but seemed to work well

So I'm curious: Once you've gathered the balls, what do you do with them? Do you sell them? Donate them? Use them? Also, do you have to ask for permission to do this kind of thing? Any fees or anything like that?

Since I suck at golf, I end up using and losing them all myself lol. For certain nice course I’m sure you have to get some form of permission. This course is just a local course found near some public apartments so no permission needed.
